Additional Participant Not on the Roster
Should an additional participant show up to a scheduled course that is not on the official roster, the instructor has the discretion to allow the participant to complete the course if specific criteria is met.
Criteria:
- The class roster is not filled to capacity (i.e. only 12 spots of 14 are booked)
- A participant does not show and a space is open if capacity is met
It is suggested that the participant is asked to stay in the main office area until you are about to start, and then advise them if they can stay or not. The participant is not permitted to stay if capacity is met.
Procedure
- Allow the participant to complete the course. Place their name and certification level on the roster.
- Advise the participant to contact the office by email only at customerservice@superiorems.ca to arrange course payment and to pickup their certificate.
The instructor does not need administration permission, this is at the discretion of the instructor.
Note: This only applies to full courses, and does not apply to renewals as the instructor has no way to verify the individual is eligible for a renewal!
