WSIB Requires 100% attendance for certification.
Standard First Aid
Standard First Aid requires 13 hours of instruction time
Emergency First Aid
Emergency First Aid requires 6.5 hours of instruction time
Participants Missing Day 1 Content
If a participant misses any of day 1 content, they are not able to be certified in either standard or emergency first aid and must repeat the course.
Participants Missing Day 2 Content
If a participant misses day 2 content, they are not able to be certified in standard first aid but may be issued a certificate in Emergency First Aid if all of the EFA criteria is met in Day 1. To receive Standard First Aid they would have to repeat the course.
Making Up Content
We are not able to accomodate making up content. As each course has a variable flow, we are not able to simply add a participant to another date for the missed time. For example if a participant misses day 2 of the course, we are not able to simply allow the participant to complete day 2 at another time, as we cannot guarantee that they will make up all of the missed content, resulting in the participant not meeting the requirements for certification.
