Participant Failure

Participant Failure

From time to time a participant does not meet the requirements for certification for various reasons.  When a participant is unsuccessful the instructor will fill out an incident/problem report form.

The instructor will include in their report:
  1. Name of the participant
  2. A brief summary of why they were unsuccessful
  3. Any remedial action the instructor took to try and support success
  4. If the instructor feels they met requirements for any certification (i.e. did not meet the standards for SFA w/C but could receive a EFA with A)
The instructor will advise the participant
  1. That they were unsuccessful
  2. The reasons for being unsuccessful
  3. Advise the participants to contact the office during business hours by email to customerservice@superiorems.ca
The report can be found at: https://zfrmz.com/YJYDefzZ1NKqQni9ZOt7

Superior EMS will:
  1. Review the instructors report
  2. Determine if any remedial actions can be offered to the participant
  3. Allow the participants to challenge the fail grade by another instructor independent of the class involved
  4. Issue the appropraite certificate or maintain the fail grade
